Media Arts Center San Diego's 26th Annual San Diego Latino Film Festival is looking for responsible and professional interns to assist the Exhibitions Department with filmmaker outreach.
You will be tasked with promoting the annual Call for Entries, annual Call for Posters competition; as well as promoting MACSD's year-round movie screenings/events.
You must be an excellent communicator via email and not afraid of talking to community organizations, press contacts, and/or filmmakers on the phone.
Festival takes place in March 2019. However, we are looking for interns to help assisting in marketing and communications during the current Summer and beyond.

Description
MACSD has been changing lives through film and technology for the past 25 years. Some of the key programs and services of Media Arts Center San Diego include: Youth Media/Education Programs (i.e. Teen Producers Project, Youth Media & Tech Camps, etc.). Exhibition (i.e. Annual San Diego Latino Film Festival, Monthly Cinema en tu Idioma Series, Digital Gym CINEMA North Park, Que Viva Cine Latino, etc.). Community Production (i.e. Video Production Services, Speak City Heights, Fiscal Sponsorship, Frontera Filmmakers, etc.).
