The Friends of the Sun City Library generate funds to support the Library's purchases by running a Bookstore in the Library. The Bookstore cashiers and sorters are all volunteers who are dedicated to contributing to the Library and their community. WE NEED a person to volunteer to coordinate and supervise the 36 volunteers who cover the 50 hours that the Bookstore and Library are open each week. Skills needed are interview, analysis, coordination and appointment of volunteers and substitute volunteers so that all shifts are covered. The Coordinator should be able to work well with people and have a pleasant personality. The Coordinator works closely with the Bookstore Manager to provide qualified volunteers sort and sell the books donated by the community.
