A very active and productive Friends of the Sun City Library Board of Directors needs a person who will volunteer to attend monthly meetings at the library and record the actions taken at the meeting. As a voting member of the board, the Secretary has a 2 year term. Templates will be provided to record minutes. Must have an appropriate use of the English language. Additionally, voluntarily participate and record quarterly General Membership meetings. All-in-all, this is a great opportunity to contribute to the community and have FUN at the same time.

Mission Statement
The purpose of the organization is to focus public attention on library services, facilities, and needs; to stimulate gifts and bequests of books and money; and to provide financial assistance and to support volunteer in-library services needed to meet the library's daily operational requirements and material purchase.
Description
The Friends of the Sun City Library is an auxilliary support group for the Sun City Library, Menifee, California. Our volunteers operate a bookstore and hold fundraisers, the profits from which support the library's programs and purchases of collection, media, and software.
