Kindred Hospice needs people like you to participate in the Monthly Super Saturday Event. Super Saturdays are held every 4th Saturday from 11a until 3p in the Birmingham office. Volunteers are welcome to stay for the entire event but may choose to stay for a shorter length of time.

Super Saturday volunteers are trained as administrative volunteers so we require our volunteers to be at least 16 years old. Super Saturdays present a great opportunity to meet new people, learn more about volunteer opportunities in hospice and make a difference in your community.

Super Saturday volunteers are assigned a variety of tasks such as organizing camp supplies, creating training binders, updating volunteer logs, and other assigned tasks but in a group setting.

Super Saturdays will work great for a Sunday School class, homeschooling group, and other small groups looking for a fun yet challenging volunteer activity.

P.S. children younger than 16 years of age can attend but are not able to become an actual Kindred volunteer.

If you have an interest in the Super Saturday but not ready to commit you are welcome to attend a Super Saturday for a preview.
