Events Director Responsibilities:

- Coordinates individual fundraising campaigns within region. Motivates volunteers to participate in peer-to-peer outreach.
- Teaches Regional Directors how to use the fundraising system
- Work with Marketing & Social Media chair to advertise the events

This position has a time commitment varying between 0-5 hours per week and averages

approximately 1-2 hours per week. This position is designed so it can be held by individuals with other commitments.

Description

Founded in 1995 by a group of recent college graduates, Education First is a nonprofit organization providing college scholarships to lo income youth. The founders of Education First believe that higher education can assist in breaking generational poverty. To promote our mission, we provide both financial and mentoring support to students. Education First targets students who have overcome significant life challenges and are seldom recognized for their achievements.
