The Ronald McDonald Family Room at Mercy Hospital Joplin began serving families at Mercy Hospital on November 13, 2017. Families who have a sick child being treated at Mercy Hospital Joplin now have a calm and relaxing environment for a retreat away from the ups and downs they experience while their child is in the hospital.

Volunteers will serve as a staff person to ensure all rules and guidelines are followed when families are utilizing this space. They will register families, tour the facility, and help them with any needed resources that we provide.

Volunteers will sign-up for a 4 hour shift. Shifts are available daily from 9-1, 1-5, and 5-9 pm. For more information, please contact the Program Coordinator at Ronald McDonald House by calling 417-624-2273 or email coordinator@rmhjoplin.org.
