ORGANIZATION: Storytelling Arts of Indiana

  • 37 people are interested

Storytelling Arts of Indiana will train you in the art of storytelling so that you may tell stories at the bedside of a local children's hospital. Working in pairs, the storytellers move from bedside to bedside on Wednesday nights from 6 - 8 p.m. We ask that you commit for at least one year because of the cost of the training.

Before you are trained in the art of storytelling, volunteers must first meet all of the requirements for volunteers at this specific hospital. This includes but is not limited to completing an application, interview, background check, TB test, flu shot and volunteer workshop.
