RIP Guests Entertained by a Magician

The RIP Reception takes place from 5 - 7 p.m. in the Waiting Station on the ground of Crown Hill Cemetery before Ghost Stories from 7:30 - 10 p.m. This add-on event is limited to 125 individuals. It includes complimentary wine, beer and food along with entertainment. During the RIP, a live auction of decorated pumpkins also takes place.

We need two individuals to help with replenishing the food platters as well as two additional volunteers to help with clean-up and tear-down. The clean-up and tear-down will take place from 7 - 9 p.m.

Storytelling Arts of Indiana accomplishes these goals and instills the value of storytelling in everyday life by offering: 1. Professional storytelling performances, 2. Youth and senior outreach, 3. Description

Since 1988, Storytelling Arts runs programming year round, including public performances, the As I Recall Storytelling guilds, weekly storytelling at the bedside of patients at a local children's hospital, summer performances in various day camps throughout Marion County, Indy Story Slam in collaboration with Freetown Village and Hear Our Stories: The Life and Afterlife of Incarceration. The Life Stories Project, an oral history program records the stories of everyday people in collaboration with Freetown Village and the Indiana Historical Society. The Annual Liar's Contest takes place during the Indiana State Fair in Pioneer Village where youth and adults tell their biggest lie for cash prizes and ribbons.
