Please visit the new page to apply.
Located on 87 beautiful acres, ARC is a spiritual retreat center for individuals and groups. ARC is a spiritual home not only to its guests but also its resident community. As such, it is imperative that members are able to support each other not only in the day-to-day tasks of running a retreat center but also in their personal and spiritual development.
Day-to-day tasks include: gardening, trail maintenance, supporting the kitchen staff, and/or supporting thr Housekeeping Community Leader.
ARC Support Community: 1 week-1month: these extended volunteers support the long-term sustainability of the ARC community through transition and turnover. During their visit, they learn more about what it looks like to live in community, the structure of ARC and are given a short retreat for themselves.
Short-term Community Member: 3 months-1 year: these community members are often seasonal. Their daily tasks include performing the day-to-day functions of running a lodge and business on 90 acres of land and can include but are not limited to washing dishes, hauling and splitting wood, or tidying. Compensation: $300 stipend/month
Long-term Community Member: 1-3 years: these community members serve as a model of ARC values and are responsible for teaching new community members how to complete their role while while completing their own day-to-day tasks. They maintain the operational sustainability of the organization and community. Compensation: $600 stipend/month
