The Dispenser will always show compassion, dignity and respect to all clients and other volunteers.
The Dispenser helps the clients with the number of choices they have per posted guidelines, along with making suggestions of uses for the food, will put food on shelves with labels facing out. Keeps area clean, pulls any food from shelves that is spoiled or severely damaged. Clean up spills, break down cardboard and put in recycle bin. Closing shift workers are responsible for sweeping under shelves and refrigeration units; mop food bank, ensure all remaining perishable items are properly stored in either refrigerators or freezers as required. Food Handler's card is preferred for working in this area.

Need good interpersonal and communication skills and a customer service background. Must be comfortable in a busy environment and able to work on your feet for several hours.

Available shifts: Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. and/or 3 p.m. to close.
