Sorting Produce at QAFB

QAFB receives hundreds of pound of produce every week. It comes to us in a hodgepodge of boxes and we need help sorting it!

We have produce sorters Monday-Thursday 9a-12p and especially need help on Thursdays setting up our Food Bank room for folks to shop from that afternoon.

It is an organizers dream! It is fun to take a room of chaos and create neat, beautiful boxes of produce for people to shop from.

And you get to see and learn about all different kinds of produce- there is always a surprise!

Come be a part of helping us to reduce food waste and get it to people who really need it.
