The Queen Anne Food Bank is a new, community-supported Food Bank on the perimeter of Downtown Seattle. We serve sack lunches and hot soup 5 days/week and have a Food Bank open every Thursday afternoon. We serve over 1500 lunches per month and recieve grocery donations from four local grocery stores.

Volunteering at The Queen Anne Food Bank has been the most fulfilling experience for me. With such a small space, and relying entirely on donations, they are able to feed a large population of people in need during their weekday meal program (plus the traditional food bank program). I love and appreciate the ability to directly interact with clients who rely on QAFB for lunch and cup of warm soup.
