Generation 180 is dedicated to driving a cultural shift in energy awareness and advancing the transition to clean energy. The organization is looking for volunteers to support its clean energy campaigns in Charlottesville and Albermarle. Generation 180 is committed to empowering its volunteer teams with ongoing training and support to be effective in making positive changes in your community.
The Generation 180 Charlottesville team support local school districts in going solar, leads workshops that encourage community members to adopt clean energy solutions, and encourages businesses to stop energy waste.

Generation 180 is a clean energy nonprofit located in Charlottesville, VA, building a network of volunteer teams committed to advancing energy awareness and clean energy nationwide. Individual choices control 1/3 of U.S. carbon emissions-choices like transportation, how we power our homes, and diet. We have an opportunity to rapidly decarbonize at scale and low cost by changing our energy consumption. Generation 180 is building a network of nationwide volunteer teams to help move our country towards 100% clean energy, advancing this cultural shift towards energy awareness and clean energy adoption.
