After working with Generation 180 for a few weeks, I have learned a lot about both the benefits of clean energy practices and the ways that individual people can make a difference through being informed and taking action. The projects that Gen180 is tackling (such as the "Solar Schools" and "Keep It Cool" campaigns) have a noticeable, measurable impact and fall in line with their mission of advancing the cultural shift of "energy awareness." This is a great organization to volunteer with if you want to do your part in the movement toward a world powered by clean energy!

I am an intern at Generation 180 and have loved my experience with the organization so far. I can see how much of a difference Generation 180's work is making every day for the planet. It is a very professional organization with an inspiring mission and unique programs. It empowers individuals to make a meaningful difference. I look forward to working with them in the future and highly recommend anyone volunteer with them for a rewarding experience.

I was looking for some opportunities in the Charlottesville area to get involved with clean energy advocacy and I am so grateful to have found Generation180! My experience working with them has been the most worthwhile volunteer position I have ever had. I really feel like I am making a difference. Everyone is so supportive and fun and I would highly recommend volunteering with them!

Generation 180 is an awesome organization empowering people to make meaningful, energy aware changes in their lives, no matter how small. The staff is friendly, passionate, and always helpful. They make me feel like we can make a difference in our communities toward a cleaner, brighter future! It's always a pleasure working with them!
