We are looking for volunteers to spend time with two Latino four-year-old cousins. These two bright kids were unable to attend Head Start this year. They will be starting Kindergarten next year but in the meantime, they are eager for experiences and opportunities to learn. One of them cries every morning because his brothers get to go to school. We are looking for volunteers who could spend 3-4 hours with these two boys once or twice a week. Activities could include taking them to the library, the park, and developing activities for them outside the home. Both are bilingual, so Spanish language is not required. However, volunteers interested in practicing Spanish could speak it with the boys and with their parents.

Bounty & Soul is a Black Mountain-based nonprofit that connects, shares, and celebrates nutritious food, education, and community. We host weekly FREE, fresh produce markets paired with nutrition and wellness education and resources for adults and children as well as accessible yoga and Zumba classes. We are dedicated to creating communities where everyone has the right and opportunity to eat well, be nourished, and thrive.
