Produce the best possible atmosphere for Kids Connection through sound reinforcement. This includes, but is not limited to, creating the best music mix possible, creating an audio mix that meets the mood the Kids Connection leader wants to convey, and supporting the audio needs of the people involved with the program.
Tasks:
Pre-Program
1. Perform proper sound check; includes gain settings, monitor mixes, proper volume settings, and the eq/mixing process.
2. Check with Kids Connection director for schedule and any schedule changes.
During Program
1. Responsible for adjusting sound levels during program as needed.
2. Responsible for following Kids Connection leader’s direction and musician’s direction during services. For example, boosting monitor levels.
3. Responsible for following stage and schedule cues.
4. Responsible for providing a distraction-free program as it relates to audio production.
Post-Program
1. Return sound equipment to proper storage areas and turn off equipment.
2. Talk with the Kids Connection director to find out if issues existed for during program.
3. Note any broken/faulty equipment and take it out of service if possible.

Description
Kids Connection offers two interactive programs: Kids Connection 360 for children from Kindergarten through 5 th grade and Jr. High Connection 180 for children from 6 th grade through 8 th grade.
Kids Connection 360 is meeting the growing needs of children from Kindergarten through 5 th grade in Redlands, Mentone and the surrounding communities. In our program, we teach children about the importance of knowing their surrounding community; family, extended family, friends, neighbors and those they come in contact with at school. Our focus is how each child can impact lives around them through respect, integrity, kindness and selfless acts.
Jr. High Connection 180 is for children from 6 th grade through 8 th grade. Middle school students are at a crucial stage of life. We recognize the importance of teaching these children the value of being a team member and to remember when they make mistakes they can rely on each other and the people involved in their life to help them redirect their choices for success.
