This is an internationally known tournament and this will be the 29th annual Best of the West tournament. It is truly one of the most exciting and intense games you will ever assist with and watch. The City of San Diego's Park and Recreation Department will be hosting 8 international teams and we need your help!
Volunteers will assist with; scorekeeping, timekeeping, shot clock operator, penalty box, meal preparation, and assist with the set-up and breakdown of the event.
Here are the details:
Saturday, November 10th- 8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
Sunday, November 11th- 8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.

Description
San Diego's Park and Recreation Department is responsible for overseeing nearly 40,000 acres of developed and undeveloped open space, more than 340 parks including Balboa Park, Mission Trails Regional Park, and Mission Bay Park; 25 miles of shoreline from Sunset Cliffs to La Jolla; 13 pools; 3 public golf complexes; 56 recreation centers and more. Park and recreation professionals and volunteers host hundreds of community events each year and provide safe places for thousands of children to go after school. City employees and volunteers take great pride to enrich the lives of others through quality parks and programs, designed and developed so that people of all ages, abilities and income levels have the chance to participate in excellent recreational opportunities.
