We are looking for a volunteer web developer to support a San Diego Zoo Global Institute for Conservation Research Iguana Conservation project. Desired volunteer would be a professional level web developer with skills in WordPress, CSS, and php, etc. to modify live WordPress websites to add functionality and expand capabilities.
The two website of this projects are maintained by this project to inform International Union for Conservation of Nature Species Survival Commission Iguana Specialist Group members and the general public about global iguana conservation programs. They are also a vehicle for iguana researchers and fundraising for these programs. The websites are viewed by thousands of people and are part of our commitment to support the IUCN, as well as directly benefiting several San Diego Zoo Global iguana programs in the Caribbean and Fiji.
Opportunity would take place at the San Diego Zoo with occasional hours from home. Volunteer would be involved a few hours per week or month can be expected depending on the needs.
