CORA is the only agency in San Mateo County solely dedicated to helping those affected by domestic violence. From counseling, to emergency housing, to legal assistance, our services are designed to provide safety, support and healing.
CORA will be offering a 40-hour domestic violence advocate training that meets the educational criteria of CA Evidence Code, Section 1037.1 in January 2018.

Once participants have completed the 40-hour training course, they will be considered to move forward in the direct-service volunteer program at CORA. Opportunities in direct-service include accompanying clients to legal proceedings, children's activities, assisting on our 24/7 hotline, mental health support, information tabling, and more.
