Volunteers needed for a trail cleanup event on October 28th at 9:00AM. The Agua Hedionda Lagoon Hubbs Trail is a 1 mile long trail situated below historic Carlsbad coastal bluffs. The trail is a popular spot for students, hikers, fishermen, and our volunteers. At the event, we will replace damaged erosion control structures, and remove discarded fishing line. These structures are critical for the preservation of the coastal bluffs, and for the health of the lagoon's aquatic ecosystems! Tools, gloves, water, and snacks will be provided. Please bring a reusable water bottle and proper attire for trail work (long pants, close-toed shoes, and plenty of sunscreen).
LOAs and volunteer documentation can be provided at the event. If you, or anyone in your group, is under the age of 18: Request a waiver in your responce to this posting.
