The After-School Tutor supports Catholic Charities of Santa Clara educational program for High School students.

Highly Suitable for High School Students' Community Service Hours

Key Responsibilities:
Provides assistance in one or more subjects and help student understand class-homework assignments
Review completed assignments
Coaches student in identifying resources to complete assignments
Suggest ways to improve or supplement assignments.

Skills & Abilities:
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Strong in Math.
Good listening skills and a desire to help

Requirements & Training:
Maintain b i-yearly TB skin test record
Complete volunteer training
*Fingerprint/Background clearance for volunteers 18 years and older
