Help a New Foundations resident reach her academic and career goals! An experienced tutor is needed for an adult learner preparing for the Accuplacer exam. The student is looking for help reviewing/learning from arithmetic through community college-level math.
Qualifications:
- Available at least once (twice preferred) weekly for a minimum of 3 months
- Mondays &/or Wednesdays, anytime within the window of 10 am-2 pm
- Tutoring/teaching experience with adult learners
- Able to patiently and flexibly explain math concepts and offer encouragement
- MN Literacy Council tutor training preferred
- Phone interview, references and background check required.
Location: Community Room, New Foundations, 1145 Westminster St., St. Paul
