Seeking volunteer Vet Techs to help Best Friends at NRG Arena 10/20-10/23

At the NRG Arena, Best Friends is currently caring for nearly 400 dogs and almost 75 cats displaced by the storm with the help of approximately 100 volunteers daily.
Each day we need at least 7 vet techs on hand to administer meds and help with blood draws and treatments.
Techs need to have a solid understanding of calculating correct med dosages, must be capable and comfortable handling dogs cats, be detail oriented and able to work independently but will ask questions when needed.
From Friday, October 20-Monday, October 23, we are in need of 3-4 vets to suppplement the current staff.
