Volunteer Opportunity: We are looking for a photographer to take photos at our 2nd Annual Purple Purse & Purple Tie Awards Breakfast on October 16th from 8:30am - 10:30am. If you are a photographer with your own equipment and are willing to donate your time, please contact us.
About the Event: In honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Health Imperatives is hosting the 2nd Annual Purple Purse & Purple Tie Awards Breakfast to honor leaders in the community who support survivors of domestic violence.
This extraordinary group of women and men are leaders from Southeastern Massachusetts who have made an immeasurable difference in the lives of individuals, families, and children impacted by domestic violence.
This inspirational community event will celebrate the contributions of extraordinary individuals, feature a survivor’s story, and provide ways for the community to get involved.

Who we are:
Health Imperatives is a non-profit community based agency that provides vital health and human services to nearly 30,000 families and individuals each year from communities stretching from Quincy to Nantucket.
Health Imperatives promotes healthy, safe, and vibrant families and communities. We support families and individuals who are struggling to cope with the devastating effects of poverty and violence, individuals who are worried about their health and safety, and parents who may be unprepared for the challenges of raising young children. Our health, nutrition, and counseling programs provide help, hope, and opportunity to local families and individuals.
