Volunteers for Community Impact

Food Service

The mission of St. Cloud Community Pantry (SCCP) is to reduce hunger in the local area by providing food to residents in need. This is made possible through the generosity of our partners, supporters, and of course the volunteers. SCCP helps over 350 families each month.

There are a number of opportunities to serve at the SCCP. Each area varies in responsibility and time. The three main areas of interest can be found in providing services for those in need, cultivating a community garden or providing education.

VCI's part in this opportunity is to provide volunteers who are 55+ with a (free) comprehensive benefits package- CIMA supplemental insurance, a Life Insurance benefit, free workshops and more! Call your VCI RSVP Coordinator, Delilah McKay, for more information: 407-298-4180, x108.

RSVP, a part of Senior Corps, is America's largest volunteer network for people 55 and over, with more than 300,000 volunteers tackling tough issues in communities nationwide. RSVP shows you how you can apply the skills and wisdom you have acquired throughout your life to make a positive difference in the lives of others. RSVP is federally funded by the Corporation of National and Community Services.
