We work with Dresden Elementary School students newly introduced to the school system. These students are behind in reading, writing and basic math due to language and/or lack of prior school experience. To help the children catch up to their grade level, tutors work 1:1 on these fundamentals that are so necessary for classroom success. The kids come from families that speak only Spanish in the home, and their parents struggle to help them with school work.

We do free 1:1 after-school tutoring on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 2:40-4:15. No experience is necessary, and you don't need to speak Spanish. We supply all the materials you'll need, and everyone (including the teachers) has been so excited to see how far our kids have come!! :) :)

The students are very eager to learn. It's incredibly fulfilling to see the progress they can make with a little help. Please consider donating some of your time - you can make a big difference in their lives and their futures!
