We are looking for volunteers to share opportunities and information about ChickTech at local conferences.
While training will be provided, our ideal volunteer will have some or all of the below:
Qualifications:- Ability to quickly learn and share new information
- Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to communicate effectively
- The ability to work in a collaborative style and move others to action by planning, motivating, and organizing work tasks
- Excellent interpersonal skills that establish and maintain credibility and relationships
- Assist ChickTech OC Chapter Leadership at an exhibitor table.
- Setting up and taking down displays
- Sharing volunteer and event opportunities with conference attendees
- Providing information about ChickTech while collecting information about potential volunteers
Ideally, can volunteer during the weekdays between 8:00AM to 5:00PM.
ChickTech does not discriminate against gender or sexual orientation. However, at this time, the OC Chapter is only accepting 18+ volunteers.

ChickTech is dedicated to retaining women and non-binary people in the technology workforce and increasing the number of people of marginalized genders pursuing technology-based careers.
Description
ChickTech is a multi-generational community helping each other become technology creators. We facilitate hands-on technology-centric events and mentorship to empower, support, and increase the confidence of girls, women, and non-binary folks. Through our programs, we build community, empower participants to see themselves as leaders, and provide networking and mentoring opportunities in the rapidly growing tech industry.
As a mostly volunteer-run non-profit, we are always searching for partners who would like to get involved through donations of expertise, volunteer time, in-kind, funding, or just by helping to get the word out.
