YNPNdc Happy Hour Poster

YNPNdc Happy Hours are hosted each 3rd Wednesday of the month at various locations in efforts to create a fun, supportive networking environment for members and prospective members in which are hosted in traditional and non-traditional happy hour settings. Happy Hour Team Members ensure the success of these monthly happy hours by assisting with various tasks including:

  • Research and visit potential venues to book
  • Liaise with Communications Team to be sure the event is promoted accurately
  • Help with Logistics on the day of the event by picking up YNPNdc signs, swag, and registration sheets
  • Scheduling/Chairing regular Happy Hour Team meetings to review lessons learned and prepare for upcoming events

YNPNdc is an independent, volunteer-led organization, affiliated with the National Young Nonprofit Professionals Network (YNPN), which includes chapters in more than 40 cities. We bring young professionals together through networking, professional development events, providing mentoring opportunities, and convene the sector. We envision a community of inspired professionals equipped to lead a diverse and evolving nonprofit sector in Greater Washington and beyond. YNPNdc members are inspired professionals who are interested in strengthening the greater Washington nonprofit sector through networking, professional development, and advocacy.
