ORGANIZATION: Friends of Trees

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.

Join Friends of Trees as we help plant yard and street trees in Se Vancouver. No experience necessary--just willingness to learn how to properly plants trees.

If you'd like to be a part of the fun, please arrive to the staging site by 12:00pm to enjoy some hot coffee and breakfast treats. The planting starts promptly at 12:30pm. We provide gloves and tools, so all you need to do is show up dressed for the weather and wearing sturdy, closed-toe shoes. A free potluck lunch will also be provided for all volunteers after the planting is complete--YUM!

Groups welcome! RSVPs are kindly requested for groups of more than 5 people. Registration is easy and can be done here: http://friendsoftrees.org/volunteering/group-registration. RSVPs are not required for individuals or groups of 4 or fewer -- you can simply show up!

For any volunteer under the age of 18 who will be planting without their guardian, a pre-signed liability waiver is required on the day of the event. To get a copy of this waiver, feel free to contact the volunteer and outreach team: Volunteer@friendsoftrees.org
