Come out and help Friends of Trees plant street and yard trees in our Montavilla, Mt. Tabor, South Tabor Neighborhoods in Portland. No experience necessary, we provide the tree planting guidance!
Please arrive to the staging site, TBA, by 12:00pm for a short lunch, the planting starts at 12:30pm. We provide gloves and tools, so all you need to do is show up dressed for the weather and wearing sturdy shoes or boots.
Looking to volunteer as a group? RSVPs are kindly requested for groups of more than 5 people - copy and paste this link http://www.friendsoftrees.org/volunteering/group-registration to do so. RSVPs are not required for individuals or groups of 4 or fewer -- you can simply show up!
For any volunteer under the age of 18 who will be planting WITHOUT their guardian, a pre-signed liability waiver is required on the day of the event. To get a copy of this waiver, feel free to contact the Volunteer & Outreach team!

Friends of Trees is a volunteer-based nonprofit organization which organizes tree planting and care events in neighborhoods, natural areas and on school grounds in partnership with the community, government and businesses.
Since Friends of Trees was founded in 1989, our volunteers have planted more than 750,000 trees and native plants!
