Volunteer Hospice Van

Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County is a non-profit organization in its 40th year of serving our community. Besides providing 24/7 nursing care availability and grief support to the community, we lend medical equipment and supplies to anyone in the community, not only our hospice patients.

Delivery volunteers are needed in the Port Angeles area. You will drive our van and help deliver and pick up medical equipment to and from our patients' homes within Port Angeles. If you don't want to drive our van, you can be a helper, as we always send 2 people to a home to assist one another. A regular shift is one morning a week, but if you prefer, you can also be a substitute only and be called whenever another volunteer is ill or away. One main requirement is the ability to lift 40 lbs. You will get trained on the job by other delivery volunteers. If you will be driving, we will ask for your permission to obtain your driving record at our cost.

Come to an orientation on the first Friday of every month in Port Angeles at 10 am to find out more about our hospice and how to become a volunteer with us!
