Assist our Vet, Dr. Dave, with vaccinations and microchipping. We need both experienced animal handlers to hold animals being vaccinated, and detail-oriented folks to fill out certificates accurately. This is a pilot program that is currently being done only for animals our members are fostering, and for people in our spay/neuter program; but we hope to expand it when we have enough volunteers. Vaccinations and microchipping is currently being done on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month, from 10 am to 1 pm. If you're interested, please contact us.

Mission Statement

Our purpose is to improve the lives and welfare of animals and people in Randolph County. We do this by educating the public, supporting pet affordability, creating volunteer opportunities, promoting responsible population control and reputable rescue.

Description

RCSPCA is located in Asheboro, North Carolina. Our primary focus is the spaying and neutering of cats and dogs to prevent their overpopulation in our community. We offer low cost spay and neuter vouchers for pets. We have a TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return) team who work with the caretakers of 'community cat colonies (feral and/or stray cats.) Our popular Dogwill/Catwill Thrift Shop is a major source of our funding. It is open for business on Fridays and Saturdays from 9 am until 3 pm. The Randolph County SPCA is a 501(c)(3) corporation staffed bly by volunteers.
