Mission Statement

The mission of the Randolph County SPCA is to prevent the overpopulation of dogs and cats in our community by providing access to low cost spay/neuter services for dogs and cats, and TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) of feral and/or stray 'community cats.'

Description

The Randolph County SPCA is located in Asheboro, North Carolina. Our primary focus is the spaying and neutering of cats and dogs to prevent their overpopulation in our community. We offer low cost spay and neuter vouchers for pets, and free transport to and from the veterinary clinic. We have a TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return) team who work with the caretakers of 'community cat' colonies (feral and/or stray cats.) Our popular Dogwill/Catwill Thrift Shop is a major source of our funding. It is open for business on Fridays and Saturdays from 9 am until 3 pm. The Randolph County SPCA is a 501(c)(3) corporation staffed entirely by volunteers.

I am so grateful to be volunteering at the Randolph County SPCA/ Dogwill-Catwill. I have met so many wonderful, like minded folks with the same love, compassion for people and animals. It is great to meet others with the same goal of helping one another and helping to control the pet population with the spay-neuter clinic and helping those who may need some assistance with pet food, at the pet pantry.... All this by shopping at a lovely thrift store, with amazing prices and people.
