The mission of the Randolph County SPCA is to prevent the overpopulation of dogs and cats in our community by providing low cost spay/neuter services for pet dogs and cats, T-N-R (Trap-Neuter-Return) of free roaming cats, and education in responsible pet ownership.
The Randolph County SPCA is located in Asheboro, North Carolina. Our primary focus is the spaying and neutering of cats and dogs to prevent their overpopulation in our community. We offer low cost spay and neuter of pets, and free transport to and from the veterinary clinic. We have a T-N-R team who work with the caretakers of free-roaming (feral or stray) cat colonies to trap, neuter and return them to their colonies. We also have a team of retired educators who visit the schools to talk to students about the importance of responsible pet ownership and spay/neuter. Our popular Dogwill/Catwill Thrift Shop is a major source of our funding. it is open for business on Fridays and Saturdays from 9 am until 3 pm. Randolph County SPCA is operated entirely by volunteers. There is no paid staff.
