Join us for a day of weeding and harvesting!
Drew Farm is a 2.5 acre food production and education site operated by the Detroit Public Schools Community District, Office of School Nutrition. Drew Farm is located on the grounds of Drew Transition Center, a DPSCD school serving 18-26 year olds with cognitive and physical special needs.
We hope to see you at Drew!
What to bring:
Work gloves
Water bottle
Weather appropriate clothes- please wear long pants and close toed shoes!

Improving access to healthy food for Detroit students.
Description
Operated through the Office of School Nutrition, the Detroit School Garden Collaborative runs a 2 acre food production farm that provides fresh produce for school cafterias. In 2015 we grew over 20,000 pounds of food. Additionally we have 82 active school gardens with trained teachers and a standards approved school garden curriculum. We have also recently gained the opportunity to restore Catherine Ferguson, a 2 acre school farm site in Detrot.
