ChickTech was founded in 2012 to engage women of all ages in the technology industry while working to create a better technology culture for all. We build communities, empower participants to see themselves as leaders, and provide networking and mentoring opportunities in a rapidly growing industry. ChickTech has made a direct impact on tens of thousands of participants, including girls, women, and men.

We are looking for a Social Media Manager to build and execute a social media strategy and increase engagement with our followers. This is a great opportunity for recent grads and career changers looking to gain experience in social media management.

Responsibilities include:

• Building and executing a social media strategy
• Curating, generating, and sharing content that allows us to provide meaningful content to our audience
• Managing social media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities
• Moderating all user-generated content

Our ideal social media manager will have some or all of the below:

• Highly motivated and creative individual who is passionate about our mission
• Proven experience in social media management
• Good understanding of major social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Meetup, Snapchat, etc.)
• Demonstrable social analytics tools knowledge
• Strong writing and editing skills
• Basic graphic design and editing skills (photo, text)
• Ability to work collaboratively
