Join our volunteer crews!

wanting to find a way to get involved with the Lake Oswego community? how about helping your community restore its natural areas while also having loads of fun? Come out and be a part of our Saturday plantings with other volunteers!

Join Friends of Trees and the City of Lake Oswego in planting native trees, shrubs, and herbaceous plants to help restore this important habitat area adjacent to the Tualatin River. This project is part of a larger effort under way by the City of Lake Oswego in partnership with Ash Creek Forestry to improve over 65 acres of regionally significant ecological communities in the immediate area.

Please arrive around 8:45am to be registered and assigned to a crew. The event will start promptly at 9:00am. We provide breakfast snacks and hot chocolate/coffe e, as well as gloves, tools and tree planting guidance. Please come dressed for the weather and wearing sturdy, closed-toe shoes and get ready to have fun!

Since Friends of Trees was founded in 1989, our volunteers have planted more than 750,000 trees and native plants!
