We are currently seeking volunteers to deliver a bag of food to homebound clients. Deliveries are on Tuesdays. The timing is flexible although needs to occur between 9am - 5pm. If you enjoy helping others and want to assist JFS to fight food insecurity, this position is for you!

This position requires volunteers to be on their feet. Comfortable shoes are highly recommended. Must be reliable and consistent, have transportation and be able to pass a complete background check. Must be able to lift 20 lbs. and have a "roll up your sleeves mentality". Volunteers have told us they love working at Jewish Family Services!

The Anja Rosenberg Kosher Food Pantry at Jewish Family Services distributes over 60,000 pounds of food, toiletries and cleaning supplies each year to local residents within the Greater Hartford area during temporary or long-term times of need. The Anja Rosenberg Kosher Food Pantry at Jewish Family Services serves all people regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, national origin, disability, gender or sexual orientation.
