Root Solutions is seeking an experienced Ruby on Rails web developer to help us get our new website up and running.

1 st Priority: Website Migration

We have an existing website, and G Suite email service, hosted by Wix at our desired URL while making sure we don’t lose our email account. There are also minor text changes that need to be implemented before the website goes live.

2 nd Priority:

Create web forms to update projects and staff information, potentially create web forms to update articles database

Fix the articles database search - bring the results according to the selected filters

If you can help of with the first, and possibly the second, we welcome you with open arms!

Root Solutions works to provide conservationists and policy makers with tools and resources informed by the proven methods of behavioral economics and behavior design, allowing them to create more effective campaigns, policies, and strategies that reflect how people are actually motivated and make decisions. By understanding human behavior, and the factors which influence the choices people make, conservationists will be able to "nudge" people toward decisions and behavior that are good for them and good for the planet.

As a young non-profit with ambitious goals (including expanding our work to all cause movements), our existing funding is restricted to program activities. Root Solutions is small and primarily volunteer run.
