Tabling at SSU

The Tellus Nova Foundation (TNF) is a small non-profit (but with room to grow) with the mission of perpetuating a more enlightened universal ethos, paradigm, and culture for people to lead by, in order to develop a common frame of mind that is more conscientious of global issues.

We are currently trying to replace our officers as a few of them are also having to serve as Directors. If you are interested in gaining experience in administrative work, then this may be the position for you. Long-term volunteers only please.

If you inquire for this position, do not leave the message field blank, as we may not respond to blank fields. If you are interested in this position, then you will be referred to the Board of Directors who are obligated to vote on your election as a new officer.

Please refer to this hyperlink to view the organizational chart.

We will need you to be able to review and understand our bylaws, monitor and complete government filings, take votes, be able to record, format, and sign minutes. The duties of this position are very light and fairly sparse, especially as the Board of Directors does not have regular meetings, and paperwork tends to be filed on an annual or biannual basis.

All officers must be trustworthy and are an integral part of our organization, so a mailing address, telephone number, and e-mail are a must. The TNF does not have an office at this time, so volunteer work can primarily be done from home and occasional attendance of meetings. Thank you.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to perpetuate a more enlightened universal ethos, paradigm, and culture for people to lead by, in order to develop a common frame of mind that is more conscientious of global issues. Our mission is accomplished through the free distribution of media that exposes the public to the Tellus Nova Foundation’s philosophy and mission. Such media may include: books, pamphlets, booklets, brochures, flyers, leaflets, articles, documentaries, videos, lectures, music, broadcasts, movies, novels, novellas, short stories, and so forth. We use media that educates the public on global issues, such as biospheric collapse, economic instability, and cultural decay. We will use media that promotes: individuality and individual identity, reason, critical thinking, introspection and self-improvement, open-mindedness, meditation, empathy, self-sufficiency, and emotional, intellectual, and spiritual maturity.

Description

The Tellus Nova Foundation (TNF) was founded in the Autumn of 2016 originally with the intention to one day serve as an inter-governmental organization that would use a network of other non-profits as well as for-profit businesses in order to apply its combined resources towards the betterment of humanity, animals, and ecosystems, by generating a cultural movement focused on achieving a paradigm shift intended to overcome the global crises we are currently facing. The intention was to couple this with major infrastructural advancements and international economic development to form a holistic approach towards alleviating and preventing the furtherance of ecological devastation, war, cruelty, and other unenlightened behaviors.

In 2018, it was decided that the TNF would narrow its focus to the hosting of discussion groups and the free distribution of media intended to foster a more conscious paradigm of thought and behavior, with the notion that no society (or world) can be better than the people who compose it. With this in mind, the TNF continues today to educate the public on global issues and on the type of thinking and behavior we need to solve the issues, and prevent them from repeating. By examining the underlying attitudes of the people who directly cause or are complacent to the issues, the TNF works to eliminate the cause of the problems rather than to simply focus on the symptoms.
