LINC Housing is building new permanent supportive housing to fight homelessness - 23 units are being built in Pomona and we need volunteers to help furnish them to make new apartments feel like home.

LINC’s Welcome Home program provides basic housewares for residents who arrive with very few possessions. Help support those who have experienced homelessness, including vulnerable families and seniors. Your support will make their new apartment a foundation for the next chapter in their lives.

LINC is working to distribute the following items for each apartment:
o Full and twin size bedding sets ("bed in a bag")
o Pillows
o Shower curtain with rings
o Bath towels
o Dishes
o Flatware
o Cookware set

If you are interested in doing even more with this opportunity, you can:

• Organize a drive for your company, church, book club, family, or other group to gather items for one or more apartments.
• Set up a donation box in your lobby, post needed items on a bulletin board, or set up a "giving tree" to encourage group participation during the holidays. Members of a group can commit to one or several items needed - and have the option of purchasing from the online wish list or shopping for the item in stores. (New items only.)
