About
Million Little is a startup organization, as a result, it is a unique opportunity for volunteers to become part of the core team that actualizes the organization's mission.
Development Coordinator (Part Time Volunteer Position)
Hours: A minimum commitment of 4-6 hours/week for 6 months or longer
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and organizing fundraising events, point of entry meetings (POE) and projects
- Assist and work closely with development coordinator for community outreach through social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)
- Assist in administrative functions of the organization
- Support tracking, engaging and following up with our prospects and donors
Qualifications:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Education and/or experience in Nonprofit Management, Community Development, Communication or a related field preferred but not required
- Experiences in organizing fundraising events is a plus
- Action oriented, passionate, positive, proactive, creative and accountable
- Ability to drive to events, sites and/or office

Million Little delivers therapeutic arts programming, youth resources, educational workshops and trainings as a means to support the healthy social and emotional development and healing process of at-risk children and families in Los Angeles County and beyond.
