Companions Journeying Together is seeking a dynamic, self-starter to assist with social media efforts. We are seeking an individual to volunteer from home to assist the organization in keeping our supporters up to date about our organization and the topics of incarceration, parenting, and literacy.

We envision this person sharing valuable content with social media community that is connected to our mission, developing graphics to enhance social media messages, and occasionally making recommendations to the Executive Director and Board of Directors on new ideas, directions, and tools for social media.

The ideal volunteer will have a firm grasp of available tools and platforms in the social media space, notably Facebook and Twitter. We also seek a volunteer who possesses excellent written oral communication and interpersonal skills and are self-motivated, possess good organizational skills, and are detail-oriented.

If you are interested in learning more, please contact us.

Companions Journeying Together, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, provides a forum to personally impact the emotional, spiritual, and social lives of the incarcerated and their families. Our vision is for a society that lives by the principles of restorative justice. Our most well known program is Aunt Mary’s Storybook; for information, visit www.cjtinc.org.
