Are you passionate about or experienced with Improv? Volunteer to be part of a team teaching low-income and at-risk youth!
Neighborhood Youth Association is a non-profit after-school program. As part of the Youth Leadership program, high school students are offered elective enrichment classes in addition to academic tutoring and leadership development. We are offering an improv class (titled Performing Arts for Leadership) and are looking for a few teachers to be part of a teaching team.
Class will take place one a week for an 1.5 hours throughout the school year. If you are interested in teaching improv to low-income students in order to help improve their confidence and public speaking skills, come volunteer at NYA!
