Habitat for Humanity Needs Restore Volunteers!

You don’t need to pick up a hammer to volunteer for Habitat for Humanity: Volunteer at the ReStore!

With the help of local donations made by generous people - including businesses, home stagers, contractors and homeowners - we are able to support Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco’s mission through resale retail. Proceeds of every sale go towards building and maintaining affordable homes and revitalizing neighborhoods in our community. Thanks to our committed volunteers, the San Carlos ReStore is able to provide affordable home improvement items and furniture to local families, while also diverting thousands of tons of usable materials from local landfills each year. Here are the ReStore volunteer positions we need most:

1. Lifters/Loaders: Load and unload large/heavy items from a truck and move them to/from the sales floor.
2. Merchandisers: Receive, sort, clean, price, and organize smaller merchandise onto the sales floor.
3. Cleaners: Dust and sweep the store and/or deep clean large items such as appliances to prepare to be sold.
