The National MS Society is looking for Bike Safety Marshal Volunteers to help support Bike MS: New York City!

Bike MS: New York City will be held on Sunday, October 20 at Pier 92/94 in Manhattan. We welcome groups and individuals of all ages & abilities to join us as volunteers!

Bike MS: New York City is a unique experience - the 30 mile route around Manhattan is completely traffic free. The 50 and 100 mile rides allow cyclists to ride through the Holland Tunnel traffic free. More than 500 volunteers are needed to make this event a success.

Bike Safety Marshal Team

Date: Sunday, October 20, 2019

Location: Pier 92/94 - Manhattan

Route: ***Bike Safety Marshals will select the route they would like support***

Manhattan North - 30 Mile
Manhattan South - 30 Mile
New Jersey North - 50/100 Mile
New Jersey South - 50/100 Mile
Manhattan North - 50/100 Mile

Description: Volunteers must have their own bicycle and have knowledge of bicycle safety/maintenance. You will be assigned to a team who will be positioned along a specific section of the route.

You and your team will ride the specific geographic area before Bike MS begins. You must remain at your post until the tail of Bike MS passes. Please not that assignments may be changed at any time, including during Bike MS. ** Exact locations and times will be assigned closer to the ride**

There will be a mandatory training before the event for all Bike Safety Marshal volunteers.
