Walk MS Staten Island on Saturday, April 29, 2023 Clove Lakes Park We Welcome Volunteers of All Abilities, Anyone Can Volunteer! Families, corporate groups, and individuals of all ages and abilities are welcome to volunteer. We are always looking for youth clubs, and corporate and service-oriented community groups to lend a hand before, during, and after our events. Whether you’re living with MS and just want to say thank you at the Finish Line, or you’re ready to help with set up, there’s a place for you at Walk MS! When you volunteer, you become part of the MS movement - a community of passionate individuals working together to create a world free of MS. Together, we provide support, have fun, and make a difference for the nearly 1 million people living with MS in the United States. Some volunteer positions require specialized skills, and a criminal and/or DMV background check, and some may involve heavy lifting. Contact us for more details and if you have specific questions, needs, or accommodations during your volunteer shift. Volunteer Activities Include but are not limited to: Setting up the site, registration, greeters, passing out t-shirts, working with our VIP walkers, organizing the food service area, handing out food to walkers, being at the rest stop passing out water, cheering at the finish, tear down and assisting with various tasks as needed, etc. Specific times/positions will be shared closer to the event. Schedules can vary, and you are not required to volunteer the entire event, but PLEASE SIGN UP, so we have you listed!
