Visit with a patient in their home and provide a short break for family. Socialize, read to them, or just provide a supportive presence while they rest. Be placed with a patient in your geographic area. (Areas we serve: Douglas, Franklin, Johnson, Linn, Miami, and Wyandotte counties in Kansas.) No direct patient care is required.

Description
Olathe Health Ambassadors, what we like to call our volunteers, work in both clinical and non-clinical areas. Their talents are used at information desks, reception areas, patient registration, surgery family room, business offices, hospice care, and the Gift Shops - just to name a few. They also help with special projects such as Community Blood Drives and fundraising events.
At Olathe Health, our Ambassadors and staff work together to make each patient's stay as comfortable as possible.
