We are seeking customer service oriented superstars to join the Gift Shop volunteer team at the Kaiser Permanente Sunnyside Hospital in Clackamas. Our Gift Shop provides a convenient opportunity to find gifts for loved ones, care items for others during their stay, and a place to simply relax in a space away from the day-to-day hospital experience. Gift Shop volunteers not only act as cashiers, they also support visitors during times of stress, concern, and discomfort.

Funds raised from the Gift Shop support hospital projects like the beautiful courtyard and calming water feature just outside the cafeteria, where staff and visitors can find peace, calm, and a moment for reflection amid their day.

Duties of the volunteers include operating the cash register and other equipment, answering the phone, pricing and restocking merchandise, light cleaning and consistent attendance at their gift shop shift plus attending gift shop meetings.
