Great Lakes Caring Hospice is seeking Teen Volunteers to provide companionship visits to our patients in local nursing facilities. These visits can consist of : taking patients to facility activities ( Bingo, crafts), painting nails, capturing their life story, taking them outside on nice days, or simply sitting with them and providing 1:1 conversation.
Volunteering is not only great experience, it also can help with college enrollment, resume building and meeting volunteer hours needed for school classes
