Capital Caring Health offers a supportive Bereavement program to support family members. We are seeking volunteers to help with bereavement mailings and phone calls. Training will be provided.
If you have a great listening ear, compassionate heart and able to support those experiencing grief, this might be the perfect way to help others.

Description
Capital Caring Health provides hospice, palliative and advanced illness care of the highest quality to patients of all ages, regardless of their ability to pay. We serve pediatrics to geriatrics. We have two in patient centers and serve most patients in the comfort of their home. Volunteers are key to the service we provide. We train our volunteers and support them along the way. They are part of our team.

- Must be at least 18
- Orientation or Training
- 1-2 hours per week, 6month - 1 year commitment
- Interview and approval by Capital Caring Health Team. Covid vaccinated, must be over 18 years old, flu shot required during flu season, PPD, background check, orientation and training. (not cost to the volunteer)
